Some websites bury you in cookies. We're a catering company — the only cookies we truly care about are the ones you can eat. This site uses the bare minimum needed to work, and absolutely nothing to track or follow you around the internet. Here's the honest, complete list.
The cookies we do use
Only the functional ones that keep the site working and remember the one preference you've set:
- Session cookies — basic browser-function cookies used by the web server (such as Live Server during development) to serve the pages to you. They disappear the moment you close the tab.
- localStorage — cookie consent — when you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, we save a single flag (cookiesAccepted) in your browser's local storage so we don't pester you with the banner on every visit. That's all it stores. It never leaves your device.
No tracking. No ads. None.
We do not use third-party tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. We don't run analytics that profile you, we don't sell your browsing habits, and there are no hidden pixels following you to other websites. What you do on this site stays on this site.
How to disable cookies
You can block or delete cookies whenever you like, straight from your browser settings — usually under Privacy or Site settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies.
Disabling them won't break anything
Because we only use cookies for basic function and to remember your consent choice, turning them off won't stop you using the site. You'll still be able to read every page, browse the cookbook, and send us a message. The only difference is the cookie banner may greet you again next time — which, frankly, is a small price for peace of mind.
A couple of functional cookies, one saved preference, zero tracking. Disable them all and the site still works perfectly. Now go look at the food.
